Pledges, Incentives, Purpose   

Your efforts will help support the 3,000 MS clients and their 7,000 family members in Central Virginia. In 2009 the average dollars raised per cyclist was $650. These incentives are encouragement to help you make a difference. If you would prefer that all of your fundraising stays with the chapter, rather than pay for incentives, you can choose not to receive these incentives. Learn more about our MISSION FIRST CLUB.

MS Passport Program fundraising of $5,000 and higher

Any rider that raises $5,000 or more can participate in the MS Passport Program.  This offers you the opportunity to ride in any of the other MS 150 rides around the country.  All you do is pay a $50 registration fee to participate, but there are no fundraising obligations.  Just pay and enjoy the ride.  If you’ve ever thought about riding the coast of California or New England or the Mississippi Delta, this is a way to do it!

Tour of Champions fundraising of $7,500 and higher

The Tour of Champions is a gathering of top fundraisers from different chapters around the country.  It’s a chance to network, have fun and be recognized for your fundraising. In 2009 Don Hall, Mark Householder and Ron Powell were invited to attend this event in Chicago.
